Hey, everyone! I hope you’re doing well. 💕
So as I’m a student, I really understand how it feels like to have a bunch of things to do in a short limited time. Therefore, here are some REAL ways to get things done, that really helped me, considering I’m a huge fan of procrastinating and having chill days…
First things first, SAY IY OUT LOUD: 🔊 I mean sometimes work can be overwhelming and you have a lot of things to do in one day, so what I do is that I speak out loud because my brain is already having so many dispersed ideas ( firstly, I have to do this, then go to that place & buy those things, come back and do that, clean that, reply to that & I’ll be done..) for example! So make a plan and say it out loud. And go for it immediately, because the only person that is going to put you in check is you.
Second, I’m going to talk about to do lists. ✔ Now, I know that to do lists are really helpful for some of you guys while there aren’t for others. It’s quite simple. All you have to do is to write down some realistic to-do, or in the other case, make two lists. The first is for what you need to accomplish by the end of the day and the second is for what you need to accomplish by the end of the month/year/semester… At least, I know it helped me.
Next, get yourself surrounded by people who motivate you, 🌟 who work better than you and you feel a bit guilty when you compare your works together. It can be your friends, or sometimes not, and it’s completely fine. In my case, some of my friends don’t help me get things done, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like them anymore. It means that whenever I want to accomplish something especially if I don’t have much time, I’ll go somewhere else and get things done. Although, I’ll encourage my friends to do the same.
Also, wake up early! ☁ I swear I’m struggling with that too, but waking up early makes it really easy for you to get stuff done. Personally, it does help me a lot and I get to save a lot of time at the day time. Plus, it’s beneficial for your health and system. And if you’re a Muslim, you’d know that it’s actually a Sunnah to wake up early before the sunrise because that what our Prophet Mohammed صلى الله عليه و سلم used to do and ask us to do it as well.
It does feel really awesome when you get all of your things done at the end of the day. 😚 And It always feels great to be tired of working hard… 👌
Have a great day/ night! And stay productive guys ☕
